Fungki

Fungki, a distinctive gunpower flask crafted from the horn of the Sele (Indian gaur), was an integral component of the Mizo warrior's arsenal. Sealed with Thalhrik (a resin like wax secreted by the Lac insect), this  receptacle was typically paired with Painting (a smaller, complementary flask fashioned from the horn of the saza (serow). The latter was designed to store a specialized gunpower formulation renowned for its superior ingnition properties. Both horns were conveniently suspended form a strap, allowing the warrior to carry them with ease during hunting expeditions.
